Exercise Room Electrical Wiring Complete – Glen Drive Harbor Springs
Yesterday I polished off the exercise room in Harbor Springs, MI I wrote about in an earlier post on residential electrical work. The job went very smoothly. As you can see by the pictures the flooring still needs to be installed.
It’s nice when I can get into the job before that happens so I don’t have to worry about tracking anything on the carpet. You can also see the Hydronic Electric Baseboard Heater underneath the window which are more efficient than the standard variety.
The two electrical boxes up high and on either side of the window are for the flat panel TV’s that will mount right in front of them. I like using these electrical boxes because the outlet is recessed back into the wall which makes room for the plug on the TV. Also there’s an opening for the coaxial cable in the same box. They’re the best electrical component for that particular application.
The white box high up on the ceiling above the closet door is the split unit A/C which also doubles as a heat pump. This is what you want to use if you do not have forced air.
The condenser sits outside and the coolant is piped to this unit which has a fan motor to circulate the air in the room. It will heat the space also but once the temperature drops to about fifteen degrees the electric baseboard heaters will act as a supplement.
