Wiring a Commercial Store Front in Petoskey Michigan
I’m just starting another commercial electrical project, this time in Petoskey. It’s located in Glen’s North Plaza. I was contacted by Bunker Services to bid the job. The work I’m doing now is to split a large unit into two smaller ones. The large unit is right next door to High Gear cycle shop. What I’ll have to do first is add a new 200 amp three phase electrical service for the second smaller unit. Then I’ll sort all of the circuitry so that the two new units are completely separate from one another. After that is completed I’ll begin running circuits for the basic “white box” that the owner of the plaza provides. Things like the basic lighting which includes the exit and emergency lighting and some basic outlets.
Once that’s complete the owner of the store front get’s involved and builds the unit out to suit there needs. Hopefully I’ll get to do that work as well. It’s nice to see that the business in Northern Michigan is again expanding I’m seeing quite a bit more activity this summer than the last one.
